Talk About It – Divorce, is a set of 40 - 4" x 6" colorfully illustrated, conversation cards. These cards are specially designed to help kids understand and cope with the many changes divorce brings. 

Talk About It – Divorce, cards contain:

·         Questions commonly asked by kids whose parents
are breaking up or have broken up.

·         Responses from kids who are working through the
break-up of their parents.

• A follow-up question to start the conversation.

Parents know their children struggle with the transitions inherent in divorce. Talk About It - Divorce conversation cards are professionally developed and proven successful in helping children talk about what they are feeling. Once children can begin talking about the feelings associated with the breakup of their parents, healing can begin.

Q: How can I use the cards as a parent?

A: Talk About It are conversation cards that can be used in a variety of ways. As a parent, you can use the cards with your child. Use one card a day as a topic of discussion. Bring the cards with you in the car and have your child read the questions and then begin to “Talk About It”. You may use the cards at one sitting or stretch them out over a period of time. These cards can also be used more than once. How your child feels one week regarding an issue may completely change the following week. Keeping the channels of communication open is key, and this is a wonderful tool to help this happen.
