Post Decree Matters PDF Print

Sometimes, dissolution actions do not end once a final decree is entered. Fogel Law Offices, P.A. represents individuals after their decree is finalized, when necessary. For example, post-decree modifications usually involve issues of child support, child custody, or parenting time. It may be necessary to file a motion in order to modify or change the provisions of the existing court order, normally a Decree of Divorce, or Order Establishing Paternity. An order can be modified upon the showing of a substantial, material, and permanent change in circumstances. This will normally be the result of a change in income of one or both parties, or a change in the living situation of one or both parties.
